FUTUREBUILD is an annual sustainable building exhibition which at the ExCel Centre in London, typically in March each year. The event first took place in 2005 and was called ECOBUILD until it was renamed in 2019 after a change of ownership. Which it began as niche event for those interested in green buildings, but it has grown to become one of the biggest events in the world for sustainable design, construction, and the built environment. At the 2020 event there were over 400 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors over three days. In addition to the exhibits with various sustainable building products and systems on display, there is also a conference programme with talks, discussions, and debates on the key issues facing the built environment.
